Feride

Feride was abandoned on campus in 2017, inside a catch cage; we never found out who left her there. We could hardly turn our backs on her. She arrived terrified of people, trusting nobody, retreating into a corner at the slightest movement. Come a step too close and she would tuck her tail between her legs and wet herself in fear.

One of our members put an enormous amount of work into Feride — first teaching her that people can be trusted, and then, with other members helping, getting her used to people and after that to other dogs. She still approaches warily at first, out of that old fear, but once she knows you she turns into an angel.

For our girl, who lost her trust in people and then earned it back — and who is still working at it — we are looking for a family that will never leave her again and will love her as much as we do.

Feride is six years old, female and neutered.
